Akirnya upgrate firefox 4 di ubuntu 10.10
Ada 2 cara buat install firefox 4, yaitu dengan cara online dan offline:
Tapi kali ini saya akan bahas dengan cara online
1. buka terminal Applications - Accessories - Terminal kemudian ketik seperti berikut :
retnet@retnet:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa && sudo apt-get update
2. kemudian tekan ENTER. isi password Admin Anda dan tunggu hingga selesai.
Kemudian (masih di terminal) ketikkan :
retnet@retnet:~$ sudo apt-get install firefox-4.0
Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following extra packages will be installed: firefox-4.0-core Suggested packages: firefox-4.0-gnome-support latex-xft-fonts The following NEW packages will be installed: firefox-4.0 firefox-4.0-core 0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 10 not upgraded. Need to get 14.0MB of archives. After this operation, 29.3MB of additional disk space will be used. Do you want to continue [Y/n]? tekan Y dan ENTER.
3. kemudian tunggu hingga selesai.
4. Instalasi sudah selesai, kemudian buka di Applications - Internet - Minefield 4.0 Web Browser
5. Selesai
